Join us on a really exciting afternoon out to visit the Incredible Edible town, Todmorden, West Yorkshire. Find out how this small town aims to provide local food for all by working as a community to transform public spaces into beautiful and productive gardens. From school to classroom to kitchen the town is working together to come up with positive, practical solutions to food sovereignty.
Join Conservation Officer Kerry Fieldhouse in this first of three walks exploring the diverse cultural and natural heritage of the Meanwood Valley. This walk takes us through Woodhouse Moor, the little known haven of Dagmar Woods and onto Woodhouse Ridge or ‘Batty Woods’ as it is known locally.
Meet by the Victoria Memorial near The Library pub on Woodhouse Lane
The co-op is moving so come and help us move everything from the cupboard we all know and love into its Easter hibernation slumber room whilst we start work on our new space. We'll be there from 12pm onwards and the whole day will be filled with reminiscing over old photos, taking new pictures, discovering what lies behind the fridge, playing "how many people can you fit in a co-op", playing "how many people can you fit in a co-op when there's no stock in it anymore", taking down shelving, and maybe some tears.
