The International Development Conference!

When?  The 13th March. 9am- 5pm.
Where? Up in the Arc in the Union.

International Development Courses are run for students by students. They promote and develop awareness about the crucial issues people should be aware of to be a global citizen. It is essential to have awareness and knowledge about these topics before becoming involved in development interventions

This year the conference is focusing on Inequalities

We have invited some of the leading experts in these areas to come and hold workshops on:
·         Climate Change
·         Gender Inequality
·         Inequalities in the UK
·         Health Access
·         Barriers to Equality

Inequalities are relevant to the world today and will impact everyone. We hope to increase your knowledge and understanding and strengthen sex cam your interest.
The student run charities will also be present, providing you with an opportunity to get involved.
The conference is aimed at people who don’t know much about the subjects. However, if you do have prior knowledge, the conference offers a great opportunity to speak to leading experts in the field and meet likeminded people.
An amazing free, ethically sourced, homemade lunch will be provided for you, along with tea and biscuits in between workshops.
There will be chances for debates and question and answer sessions.
So, you get a chance to interact with people who are experts in their fields, chose which workshops you are most interested in and create your own personal programme, meet likeminded individuals and get an amazing lunch for only £7!
