Karen Inwood , director of IPES (the Permaculture Institute of El Salvador), is giving a talk at the School of Geography on Monday 30 November at 7 pm at the School of Geography Lecture Theatre (School of Geography East building). Her talk will focus on IPES’s efforts to develop the structures and knowledge base to best tackle climate change in rural communities in El Salvador. Karen is an insping speaker.
IPES is an independent organisation of Salvadorian farmers established in 2002 (http://perma.nillian.co.uk/
We will probably stay at the Geography East building foyer for an informal discussion after the talk, or might move to a nearby pub.

Karen Inwood , director of IPES (the Permaculture Institute of El Salvador), is giving a talk at Leeds University in the Roger Stevens Building, lecture hall 19, on the 25th November 1-3pm.
Karen will be discussing IPES' role in supporting sustainable farming in El Salvador, as well as the recent exciting progress made working with the new Left government in the country.
