The co-op is moving so come and help us move everything from the cupboard we all know and love into its Easter hibernation slumber room whilst we start work on our new space. We'll be there from 12pm onwards and the whole day will be filled with reminiscing over old photos, taking new pictures, discovering what lies behind the fridge, playing "how many people can you fit in a co-op", playing "how many people can you fit in a co-op when there's no stock in it anymore", taking down shelving, and maybe some tears.
This is an extra meeting to hear feedback about the Union's plan to move the food co-op. The Union want to move the co-op and we have had a meeting about what to expect, how much building work they are prepared to do and how much work we are allowed to do.
Also we need to plan stuff for the national food co-op study skillshare.
In conjunction with Sustain Green Action is hosting a skill share on how the co-op works. There are universities from all over the UK comming to see how we work.
Our suppliers Lembas are giving a quick talk, so is a founding Green Action member. It would be great if a other Green Action memebers came along, you can meet other uni's that want to do simmialr things and also give different perspectives on why people got involved.
